| Easter and Bunnies Do Not Mix |
Unfortunately, most bunnies that are given
as gifts for Easter are euthanized within
the year once the children have grown tired
of them.
The others are abandoned, dumped,
mortally injured by small children or
surrendered to a rescue or shelter within
the year. Truthfully, rabbits are not good
pets for small children. They are fragile
and do not remain cute tiny babies.
Shortly after Easter shelters and rescues
are over run with unwanted rabbits and
their offspring.

year commitment. Bringing one home
should not be taken lightly or without a
well thought out plan.
