Education, Rescue, and Respect
Many times bunnies are bought for others as
gifts who have no idea how to care for a bunny.
Or, maybe they really don't have the desire or
are not prepared to make a 10 year commitment
to a bunny.

If your family decides that a bunny would be the
right addition to your family, you can always
adopt your borrowed bunny.  It's a win/win
situation.

Easter and Bunnies Do Not Mix
Unfortunately, most bunnies that are given
as gifts for Easter are euthanized within
the year once the children have grown tired
of them.

The others are abandoned, dumped,
mortally injured by small children
or
surrendered to a rescue or shelter
within
the year
.  Truthfully, rabbits are not good
pets for small children.  They are fragile
and do not remain cute tiny babies.

Shortly after Easter shelters and rescues
are over run with unwanted rabbits and
their offspring.

Adopting a bunny requires at least a 10
year commitment.  Bringing one home
should not be taken lightly or without a
well thought out plan.
We Have a Much Better Solution
OR
We are always in need of volunteers to help with
the incredible amount of unwanted bunnies.

Every new foster family means another rabbit
can be rescued. We do everything we can to
make your fostering experience a good one for
you and the rabbit.  You don't need to be a rabbit
expert to foster, just open to learning about
these wonderful pets.  If you would like to be a
foster family to a bunny, please
